1. What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature. They can keep a session working, remember a choice or help a site understand how it is used.
2. Essential storage
The hosting and sign-in systems may use strictly necessary cookies or equivalent storage to provide secure sessions, visitor access, member login, fraud prevention and network protection. Because these are needed to provide the service you request, they cannot always be switched off through our cookie banner.
We also store accumulatorlab_tracking_consent_v3 in local storage so the site can remember whether you accepted or declined optional analytics and advertising measurement. It remains until you change your choice or clear site data in your browser.
3. Optional first-party product measurement
If you select “Accept analytics & marketing”, Accumulator Lab creates a random visitor identifier in local storage and a random session identifier in session storage. We also retain campaign details from the landing URL, such as UTM source, medium and campaign, updating them when you arrive through a newly tagged advertising link. These let us measure journeys from a visit through comparison, signup and payment without storing your raw IP address in the product-events table.
The storage names begin with accumulatorlab_product_. Declining optional tracking removes those identifiers and the saved campaign details from your browser. Server-confirmed operational totals, such as whether an odds comparison succeeded or failed, may still be counted without a browser identifier so we can run the service reliably.
4. Optional Google Analytics cookies
If you select “Accept analytics & marketing”, we load Google Analytics and it may set cookies beginning with _ga. These help us measure aggregate visits, navigation and product interactions so we can improve the beta. Analytics is not loaded merely because you visit the site.
If you consent and Stripe later verifies a Founders Club payment, our server may also send Google Analytics one completed-purchase event. It includes the membership value, plan, currency, Stripe checkout reference and a pseudonymous client identifier. It does not include your email address. Stripe retries are deduplicated using the checkout reference.
Cookie duration is controlled by our Google Analytics configuration and your browser settings. You can read Google's Privacy Policy.
5. Optional Meta Pixel cookies
If you select “Accept analytics & marketing”, we also load the Meta Pixel. It may set _fbp and, where relevant, _fbc cookies. These help us measure page visits, coarse builder milestones, completed free-account registrations and checkout starts, and understand whether a Meta advertisement led someone to Accumulator Lab. Builder milestones do not include the teams, fixtures, exact selections, odds, bookmaker, stake or potential return. The Meta Pixel is not loaded merely because you visit the site.
If you consent, our server may send Meta one completed-registration event after it creates your free account. If Stripe later verifies a new Founders Club payment, it may also send one completed-purchase event. These Meta Conversions API events include a hashed email and, where available, the _fbp or _fbc identifiers. Stable event references and our conversion ledger prevent browser, server or retry activity from being counted as duplicate registrations or purchases.

6. Changing your choice
Select “Cookie settings” and then decline to withdraw consent. We will ask Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to stop and attempt to remove their cookies from this domain. Your browser settings can also block or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking essential storage may prevent member login or other site functions from working properly.
7. Bookmaker and third-party sites
When you follow an external bookmaker or support link, that third party controls any cookies it sets. Review the cookie choices and policies on the destination site.
